The compact and comfortable Pierre Jeanneret Kangaroo Bench is also known as the “Kangourou Banquette” is a two-seater arrangement that works for all kinds of spaces. Mostly seen in the halls of the general hospital and in private residences around 1955, this low bench-style was designed for lounging. The solid teakwood frame features braided cane work on the seat and backrest. The slanted backrest forms the base and continues into the legs giving this piece a horizontal ‘Z’ shaped profile. The three front legs are connected together by two separate rods.
