Around 1960, the executive offices within Chandigarh's administrative buildings were adorned with Pierre Jeanneret's PJ-SI048A model. This majestic chair boasts a subtly slanted backrest, a cushioned seat, and upholstered armrests that showcase a variety of materials ranging from leather to moleskin. The detached armrests feature padding in a roll-style design. What distinguishes this design is the captivating 'X' shaped legs that seamlessly extend to form the armrest. These flat-profiled legs find connectivity through two central crosspieces beneath the seat, adding a distinctive touch to the overall aesthetic.
